If you dream of spending the summer in an international environment, gaining valuable knowledge and at the same time discovering the extraordinary landscapes of Norway, Nord Summer School is the perfect opportunity. The summer school organized by the University of Bodo offers intensive academic courses taught by experienced lecturers, which allow participants to develop their competences in selected fields.
During their stay, students will have the opportunity to learn about the strategy of sustainable development in the economic and social environment of the region and explore Norwegian culture and nature. The program includes theoretical classes (lectures, presentations, discussions) and practical classes (field trips). Classes will take place in an international environment and will allow you to earn 3 ECTS credits (prior consent of the faculty for their recognition is required). Completion of the course is confirmed by a certificate, which is a valuable asset in further academic or professional path.
The school will take place on the campus of Nord University in Bodo from June 30 – July 4, 2025. The plan includes online sessions before and after a week of face-to-face classes in Bodø, providing comprehensive preparation and a summary of the knowledge gained. Each student of the University of Gdańsk can apply for 1 course carried out as part of the „Nord Summer School 2025”. Registration is open until March 5, 2025. Funding will be awarded to the best applications that meet all formal requirements.
