Recruitment rules for International Mobility within the SEA-nergy Project 

Title 

SEA-nergy Artistic Mobility – Music Festival at the Parthenope University in Naples 

Objective 

The aim of the mobility is the international presentation of the artistic skills of students from the University of Gdańsk, as well as their collaboration with the Parthenope University in Naples. The project includes preparatory workshops focused on repertoire development, travel, and a final concert involving partner universities within the SEA-EU alliance. The event aims to promote intercultural cooperation and foster the stage and communication skills of young musicians. 

Destination and Duration of the Mobility 

The international mobility will be carried out at the SEA-EU partner institution, Parthenope University in Naples, on 27 November 2025.

Mobility Participants 

Students eligible to apply for international mobility must have an active student status at the University of Gdańsk on the day of both the recruitment process and the planned mobility. 

Applicants may not apply for or participate in international mobility while on any type of academic leave. 

The declared minimum English language proficiency level of the participant is B1.

Rekrutacja 

The recruitment process for the programme takes place in two stages and is conducted in accordance with the horizontal principles outlined in § 2 point 8 of the Project Regultions. Recruitment – Stage I (until June 9, 2025) 

Each candidate participating in the recruitment process is required to complete a dedicated registration form: https://forms.office.com/e/Zp3jJ8xf04. The form must be completed and submitted no later than June 9, 2025. One of the required components of the form is a motivation letter, which should include: 

– a description of artistic experience (concerts, competitions, international projects),, 

 – justification for participating in the mobility, with an emphasis on how it will contribute to competence development 

 – information about experience in ensemble performance, communication skills, and language proficiency.

Stage I Recruitment Results – by June 9, 2025 

A maximum of 20 candidates who have submitted all required documents and achieved the highest scores will qualify for Stage II of the recruitment process.  

The selection committee responsible for evaluating the applications will prepare a ranking list divided into three categories: candidates qualified for Stage II, candidates placed on the reserve list, candidates who did not meet the eligibility criteria. 

All applicants will be informed individually about the recruitment results via email no later than June 9, 2025. The results will also be published on the website: https://sea-eu.ug.edu.pl/aktualnosci/.  

Recruitment – Stage II (June 9–10, 2025)  

Stage II for selected candidates will take place on June 9–10, 2025 and will include interviews and musical skills assessments conducted by the recruitment committee.

Stage II Recruitment Results – by June 16, 2025  

Six candidates who have submitted all required documents and achieved the highest scores during Stage II will be selected to participate in the Festival.  

The selection committee responsible for verifying and evaluating the applications is required to prepare a ranking list divided into: candidates qualified for the Festival, reserve candidates, candidates who did not meet the criteria. 

All applicants will be informed individually about the recruitment results via email no later than June 16, 2025. The list will also be available on the website: https://sea-eu.ug.edu.pl/aktualnosci/.  

Preparation Stage- A musical ensemble will be formed from the six students selected to participate in the mobility. This ensemble will take part in preparatory workshops at the University of Gdańsk, scheduled for October 2025. The group will work on preparing a concert repertoire consisting of 2–3 pieces, which will be performed during the final concert in Naples. The workshops will be led by an experienced musician – the artistic coordinator – whose role is to support the ensemble in both musical interpretation and technical aspects. Attendance and active participation in the workshops are mandatory and constitute a key element of the mobility.. 

Mobility Stage- Funding may be granted to support mobility on November 27, 2025, plus two days allocated for travel. The funding is provided as a lump sum of approximately 3,425 PLN. This amount is intended to cover travel, accommodation, and daily allowances. A detailed list of funding rates is available on the website. 

Pre-Mobility Documentation Participants selected for the mobility are required to complete the following: 

  • an electronic pre-test, in which the participant self-assesses their skill level prior to the course, 
  • registration on the NAWA platform to confirm the participant’s eligibility for the project. 

Post-Mobility Documentation  Participants who complete the mobility are required to: 

  • complete an electronic post-test, in which the participant self-assesses their skill level after the course, 
  • submit the original certificate of stay issued by the host university. 

Completion of the Mobility Participants who complete the mobility will receive a certificate of participation. 

The verification of learning outcomes includes completing a post-test, in which the participant should achieve a higher score compared to the pre-test in order to receive a certificate confirming skill improvement. Both tests are conducted remotely via Microsoft Forms.
