SEA-nergy project

Increasing the mobility of UG students, doctoral students and employees under the Erasmus+ programme and supporting the comprehensive international development of the University of Gdańsk within the SEA-EU alliance – these are the main objectives of the SEA-nergy project, which received funding in the first call for the 'Support for European Universities’ programme run by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).

The aim of the programme is to strengthen partnerships and the role of Polish universities in alliances operating under the European Universities Initiative of the Erasmus+ programme. The University of Gdańsk has received funding in the amount of PLN 1,982,357.50 for the implementation of the project „Support for synergistic and complementary activities of the SEA-EU 2.0 – SEA-nergy project”, headed by the Vice-Rector for Cooperation and Internationalisation, dr hab. Anna Jurkowska-Zeidler, prof. UG.

The SEA-nergy project includes a wide range of activities aimed at UG students, doctoral students, and academic and administrative staff aimed at increasing mobility and comprehensive international development. The aim is to support activities within the SEA-EU alliance.

The initiative is implemented as part of the project „Support for synergistic and complementary activities of the SEA-EU 2.0 – SEA-nergy project”, which is part of the NAWA programme „Support for European University alliances” from the European Funds for Social Development.

The key tasks of the project include:

short-term trips for students and doctoral students,
international training and English language courses for administrative staff,
creating Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs),
modernization of the Research Potential and Shared Infrastructure Database,
organisation of research mobilities and the SEA-EU Student Ambassadors programme,
supporting young scientists through study visits abroad.
